I was born in Woodstock when it still felt like a small country town and have been working on houses since I was in grade school. I helped my father with the renovation of our century-old stone home in Poughkeepsie, doing everything from plumbing to wiring to carpentry — with plenty of hard labor to boot! That experience has given me a tremendous knowledge of houses and their systems, so it was an easy transition for me to becoming a real estate investor, property manager, and real estate agent.
Often when people sell or buy property, whether a home or an investor, they need a guide to let them know either what exactly they have or what they might be getting into. Anyone can list a house or show one, but it takes an agent who has, so to speak, “been in the trenches” (I’ve also worked in other sales fields) to get one to closing.
Welcome to the country from a Woodstock boy!
