I was born in Dutchess County but grew up amid the hustle and bustle of central New Jersey. I began studying graphic design in college but took a break after my first year and signed up to work for a temporary agency. One assignment sent me to work at a small title insurance agency. I realized I had a knack for that business and after three months I was hired as a permanent employee. I remained at the company for nine years. I relocated back to the Hudson Valley and earned my BA in Studio Art at Marist College. Innovations in computer-aided graphics made my educational experience much more exciting from when I had started ten years earlier, and I made Digital Media and Advertising my areas of concentration.
The Great Recession caused me to detour to real estate once again. For over nine years, I managed the office and marketing of a commercial real estate agency. Working there enabled me to enhance my knowledge of real estate beyond title work and to utilize my design training. I redesigned their print and digital marketing, revamped their website, and brought them into the social media world.
I am excited to be able to combine my passion for design with my experience in real estate at Lawrence O’Toole Realty. I manage the operations of the office with its great team of professionals who are personable, helpful and have tremendous knowledge in all aspects of real estate. It’s such a great atmosphere to be a part of.
It does indeed feel like home.
